The history of Bodega Torreleones is written by Francisco Fraguas and Emilio Corvalán. Their parents were close friends, and that’s how Francisco and Emilio met since their first years of age.
Over time they not only forged a great friendship but became partners of numerous endeavors.
Both families are historically related to the world of wine. The Corvalán family, of great tradition in the city of Mendoza since colonial times. The Fraguas family, whose ancestors migrated from Spain to enter in the wine business in Mendoza since the year 1950.
Francisco and Emilio, initially acted as intermediaries between wineries and wine buyers. It is in the year 1990 when they acquire their first vineyard in Maipú. Afterwards, in the year 2002, they founded the winery and started with the wine production.
Nowadays, the sons of Francisco together with the children of Emilio are the ones who give a turn of page over. Working as a team and getting involved both, the vineyards and oenological sector, as well as in the creation of the commercial department to offer the wines of Bodega Torreleones to the rest of the world.
The values passed from generation to generation are those that guide the agricultural cycle in our vineyards and the oenological decisions in the winery.
